The processor chip from fujitsu is 2.5 times faster than the Fastest Intel Chip. Called Venus, eight core processor is capable of 128 billion computing process per second.

The Venus is manufactured using 45nm fabrication processor, and is capable of achieving 128GFLOPs performance. What’s more, it is also very much energy efficient with Fujitsu claiming it cuts down power consumption by one-third.

The system that Fujitsu showcased featured four Venus chips, offering a 512GFLOPs of computing power.

Venus is destined to be clustered in supercomputers when it eventually ships, not plugged into your next custom PC build.

Venus now houses eight dies in each chip compared to the previous four. Thanks to 45nm technology the new processor consumes only a third of the power of current competing chips.

This Computer will have 2.5Ghz or 2.83Ghz Intel Core2 Quad Processor with liquid cooling, Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT or 9800 GTX graphics, up to 8GB of RAM, two or three 640GB SATA II hard drive configurable with RAID and speeds up to 10,000 rpm, 8x USB 2.0 ports, Firewire, gigabit Ethernet, TV out, 6 audio outs, media card reader and 64-bit Windows Vista.

The price of this great computer is around $1,650 – $2,200. So if you’re a hardcore gamer and want the best computer out there, you can try this one.

Blizzard Entertainment’s latest expansion to World of Warcraft – Wrath of the Lich King – adds a host of epic content to the existing game world. Players will achieve soaring levels of power, explore a vast new continent, and battle other high-level heroes to determine the fate of Azeroth.

Project Aiko adalah Android wanita versi terbaru (Android versi pertama adalah Actroid yang dikenalkan pada tahun 2005), yang diciptakan oleh Le Trung (seorang ilmuwan dari York University), yang telah mendesain hardware dan software untuk project tersebut. Aiko diambil dari bahasa Jepang (Ai = love / cinta) dan (ko = child / anak).

Project Aiko menggunakan Bio Robot Artificial Intelligence Neural System (B.R.A.I.N.S) yang dapat menggabungkan dynamic hardware dan software untuk mengekspresikan kebiasaan manusia, seperti berbicara, mengenali suara, wajah, mengekspresikan rasa sakit, membersihkan lantai, kaca, kemampuan untuk belajar, dll. Tetapi dengan teknologi yang ada pada saat ini, masih belum memungkinkan untuk dapat membuatnya ‘menyamai’ manusia.

Walau belum bisa ‘menyamai’ manusia secara keseluruhan (terutama pada ekspresi wajah), tetapi Android ini sudah beberapa langkah untuk mendekati itu, dan terus dikembangkan… lalu, apakah di masa yang akan datang akan dapat diciptakan Android yang benar-benar menyerupai manusia (seperti di film-film ) ? …mungkin saja…

The chip will sample internally at Intel in January 2004 and will take between four to six months to get to market. The Pentium 6 will follow a very similar schedule.

The Pentium V is likely to fly along at between 5GHz to 7GHz, have 2MB plus of level two cache, be built on a 90 nanometer process, and have a stackable design.

The processor we believe, sits in the LGA 775 pin socket, and above it is a very thin heatsink. But, according to sources close to the firm’s plans, another permeable heatsink can sit between this and another microprocessor module, giving a stackable design.

The final design of this arrangement is not set in stone.

According to this source, and the details have not been confirmed, a module sitting on top could provide 64-bit extensions.

And the source claimed, Microsoft is ready to launch a version of Windows called Elements with 64-bit extensions.

The idea seems to be that people can buy a 32-bit module, and then add in the 64-bit processor.

There are three samples of an arrangement of the Pentium V here in Taiwan this week, with a very thin processor and lots of wires and patches stuck on it, just to show proof of concept.

The Pentium V could have a front side bus speed of as much as 4000MHz, the source claimed, although this may be reserved for the next chip along, the Nehalem. µ
